Kazakhstan unveils GDP indicators for 9M2021

The physical volume of Kazakhstan’s GDP amounted to 52.6 trillion tenge ($123.9 billion based on current exchange rate) over 9M2021, which is 3.5 percent less than during 1Q2020, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Some 52.5 percent of the total GDP value account for paid services, 40.4 percent account for goods manufacturing, and 7.1 percent account for net tax.

The volume of goods manufacturing amounted to 21.3 trillion tenge ($50.1 billion) over 9M2021, which is 3.5 percent more than in 9M2020.

Of this amount, 15.6 trillion tenge ($36.7 billion) accounts for goods produced in industry, which is 2.6 percent more than in 9M2020; 3.05 trillion tenge ($7.1 billion) - for the construction sphere, which is 9.7 percent more; and 2.6 trillion tenge ($6.2 billion) - for agriculture, fishery and forestry, which is 1.4 percent more than in 9M2020.

In turn, 27.6 trillion tenge ($64.9 billion) of Kazakhstan’s GDP accounted for services, which is 2.9 percent more than in 9M2020.

Net tax stood at 3.7 trillion tenge ($8.7 billion) of GDP, which is 8.5 percent more than during the same period of last year.
