Iran sees increase in prices of agricultural goods

The prices of certain food and agricultural products in Iran increased this summer (June 22 through September 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of Statistical Center of Iran.

According to the statistics, the price of 1 kg of wheat increased by 105 percent, as well as 1 kg of barley by 161 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.

“In addition, the price of 1 kg of peas increased by 119 percent, while lentils by 72.4 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian,” the statistics said.
