Iran is seeking to expand car export to foreign countries, Managing Director of Iran Khodro (IKCO) told Trend in an interview.
The Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade is planning to resume Iran's car export to Syria by solving obstacles, Farshad Moghimi noted.
Iran Khodro is to officially inaugurate the launch of a car manufacturing plant in Senegal in near future, he indicated.
Iran Khodro's car exports to Iraq during the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2021) was significant. IKCO 's total export in the current year increased six times more than the last Iranian year (started March 20, 2020), he explained.
Iran Khodro, the leading domestic car manufacturer in Iran, is currently exporting its products to Iraq, Senegal, Venezuela, Azerbaijan, and Syria.
