Iran’s Saipa Automaker Company has increased auto manufacturing by 6 percent, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, CEO of the company Javad Soleimani said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
According to Soleimani, the company manufactured a total of 283,330 vehicles in 8 months. Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the company had manufactured about 266,976 automobiles.
The CEO also added that the company manufactured 37,375 vehicles in the 8th month of the current Iranian year (October 23 through November 21), which is an increase of 22 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
“So, the figure amounted to 30,627 vehicles in the same period last Iranian year,” he said.
Soleimani noted that the company plans to take a number of steps to increase auto manufacturing. If these steps are taken, it will be possible to increase auto manufacturing in the remaining months of the current Iranian year.
