Iran records increase in exports from Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Nov. 30

The exports from Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province (western Iran) increased by 142 percent in value and 231 percent in volume, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, an official of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province Mehrab Jamalpour said, Trend reports citing the organization.

The official emphasized that in total, 76,300 tons of goods worth $48.3 million were exported from the province within the mentioned period.

“The exported goods were mainly urea, household appliances, aluminum wire, almonds, fish feed, ammonia, milk powder, and so on,” he added.

Jamalpour also noted that these goods were mainly exported to Iraq, Turkey, India, Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Georgia.

Reportedly, 74 enterprises in Iran's Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province are operating on export.
