Raw steel and steel products export of major Iranian steel companies increased by 22 percent, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
According to the report, the exports of these companies for the reporting period amounted to about 4.94 million tons in total.
Within eight months, the Khuzestan Steel Company exported more than 1.1 million tons of raw steel and steel products. This is 18 percent more than in the same period last Iranian year.
Furthermore, the Mobarakeh Steel Company has exported 814,000 tons of products within the mentioned period, which is an increase of 20 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
“Meanwhile, the Esfahan Steel Company's exports for 8 months amounted to 766,000 tons, which is an increase of 19 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year,” the report said.
According to the report, the South Kaveh Steel Company exported 574,000 tons of steel and related products over eight months. This is an increase of 37 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
In addition, Hormozgan Steel Company has exported 367,000 tons of steel and related products and Saba Steel Company – 355,000 tons in 8 months. The exports of these companies increase by 17 percent and 41 percent, respectively, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
Moreover, the exports of major Iranian steel companies in the 8th month of the current Iranian year (October 23 through November 21, 2021) increased by 7 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year. So, the exports amounted to 684,000 tons during the mentioned month.
