Iran shares data on exports from Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 25

In total, 78,000 tons of goods worth over $49 million were exported from the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province (western Iran), during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through December 21, 2021), an official of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province Mehrab Jamalpour told IRNA, Trend reports.

According to Jamalpour, the main exported goods from the province were industrial products. So, $14.5 million worth of industrial products were exported from the province in 9 months.

“In addition, $13.6 million worth of petrochemical products, $10.9 million worth of mining products, and $9.97 million worth of agricultural and food products were exported from the province within the mentioned period,” he added.

The official noted that the most exported goods were almonds, fish feed, urea, ammonia, steel wires, dry milk and etc.

“These goods were mainly exported to Iraq, Turkey, India, Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, Italy, and others,” Jamalpour said.

There are 74 enterprises in Iran's Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province operating on export.
