Iran is exporting 35 percent of its fish products to the South East Asian countries, said Secretary-General Iran's Fisheries Production and Trading Union Ali-Akbar Khodaei, Trend reports citing ILNA.

Iranian products have good quality, and countries such as China, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines are interested in purchasing them, Ali-Akbar Khodaei noted.

Iran is exporting fish to 55 countries in the world, including the UAE, Qatar, Iraq, Russia, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy.

This is while Iranian exporters are facing difficulty to transfer export revenues due to banking issues, but they have found other ways to get around the problem, Khodaei said.
