Iran's foreign trade increases

TEHRAN, Iran, Jan.25

Iran's foreign trade has increased by 37 percent during the first ten months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2021), said the Director-General of Iran Customs Administration Alireza Moghadasi, Trend reports citing ILNA.

A total of 100 million tons of goods valued at $38.7 billion have been exported and 540 export declarations have been filed at Iran Customs Administration during this period, Moghadasi noted.

As for imports, Iran's Customs Administration has registered 234,000 import declarations, showing the import of 33 million tons of goods valued at $41.4 billion.

Iran's imports had a 17-percent increase in volume and 32-percent growth in value during the first ten months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2021)

Iran has imported from the UAE, China, Turkey, and Germany during this period.

The major export destinations for Iranian goods include China, Iraq, Turkey, the UAE and Afghanistan.
