Iran's tire manufacturers produced 20.1 million tons of tire rings in the first ten months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2021) indicating a five percent decline in car tire production compared to the previous year, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Statistics of tire manufacturer companies show the production had a four percent drop in value and a three percent weight decline.
The production of bus tires was 46,983 tons during this period with a two percent decline compared to last year while production of truck tires was 23,199 tons indicating a 12 percent increase in production.
The production of the light agricultural tire was 2,822 tons with a 22 percent decline compared to last year, and production of the industrial tire was 4,92 tons with a 23 percent drop.
Moreover, the production of bicycle and motorbike tires had increased 15 percent to 15,897 tons while 5,491 tons of tire flaps, conveyor belts, and hoses.
