Iran discloses value of Kerman Province’s trade turnover

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Feb. 24

The value of trade turnover of Iran’s Kerman Province (south-eastern Iran) amounted to about $3.22 billion, during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through February 19, 2022), Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Kerman Province, Mehdi Hosseini Nejad said, Trend reports citing IRNA.

He made the remark during a meeting with Kerman Province’s exporters.

According to Hosseini Nejad, the value of exports from the province amounted to about $2.22 billion.

“So, $874 million worth of Kerman Province’s goods were exported through the province own customs, while $1.3 billion worth of province goods were exported through other Iranian customs,” he added.

The chairman noted that Kerman Province's goods were mainly exported to 15 countries around Iran, as well as, China and India.

Hosseini Nejad also said that the value of imports to the province for 11 months amounted to about $1 billion. Imported goods were mainly manufacturing equipment and car spare parts.
