Iran's exports from its free zones require need for foreign investments and improved infrastructure, said the member of Development and Foresight Research Center Mohammad Vali Roozbehani, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
Roozbehani noted that Iran's free zones suffered from lack of foreign investments due to not having enough activity from the private sector, lack of stable regulations as well as sanctions on Iran.
He said providing funds for construction of essential infrastructure would help improve the overall activity of the free zones.
