Passenger car manufacturing of Iran Khodro Industrial Group decreased by 0.5 percent, during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2021 through February 19, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.
According to the report, Iran Khodro manufactured a total of 429,823 passenger cars in 11 months.
Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at 432,006.
Within 11 months, the Iran Khodro manufactured 288,842 units Peugeot, 46,527 units Samand, 46,399 units Dena, 33,287 units Runna, 6,693 units Haima, 7,951 units Tara, 103 units Peugeot 2008 and 21 units Arisun cars.
In addition, Iran Khodro Automaker Company manufactured 48,502 passenger cars in the 11th month of the current Iranian year (January 21 through February 19, 2022).
Reportedly, three giant Iranian automakers (Iran Khodro, Saipa, and Pars Khodro) manufactured a total of 828,698 cars in the first 11 months of the current Iranian year, which is an increase of 7.3 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
So, these companies had manufactured about 772,318 cars in the same period last Iranian year.
