Car manufacturing of Iran’s Saipa Group increased by 0.68 percent, during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2021 through February 19, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.
According to the report, the Saipa manufactured a total of 293,462 passenger cars in 11 months.
Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at 291,490.
So, the company manufactured 249,997 units of Tiba, 21,979 units of “Saipa 151” and 19,653 units of Shahin and 130 units of Ario cars over 11 months.
“Meanwhile, in the 11th month of the current Iranian year (January 21 through February 19, 2022), the company manufactured 14,407 passenger cars,” the report said.
Three giant Iranian automakers (Iran Khodro, Saipa, and Pars Khodro) manufactured a total of 828,698 cars in the first 11 months of the current Iranian year, which is an increase of 7.3 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
So, these companies had manufactured about 772,318 cars in the same period last Iranian year.
