TEHRAN, Iran, March 8
Trend:
Iran is seeking to increase its export to Iraq and Eurasian
Economic Union in the new Iranian year (starts March 21, 2022),
said Mojtaba Mousavian, former deputy in Iran Trade Promotion
Organization, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"The Eurasian Economic Union is a proper market for Iran's export.
The Preferential Trade Agreement between Iran and the EEU reduces
tariffs and could increase trade," he said.
The former official indicated that Iraq is increasing the import of
goods and services which could be an opportunity for Iran to raise
its exports.
Iran's export to Russia stood at $967 million in 2021, indicating a
21-percent growth compared to 2020.
