TEHRAN, Iran, March 31. The unemployment rate in Alborz Province has declined from 14.7 percent to 8.3 percent, said the Chairman of Organization of Industry, Mine, and Trade of Alborz Province Jahangir Shahmoradi, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"There is a need for labor force in the province's industrial units and the effort is to reduce the unemployment rate to 7 percent," he said.
The plan is to create jobs for 57,000 people in Alborz Province in the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2022).
According to the official, Alborz Province has planned to export $2 billion of its products, including agricultural products in the current Iranian year.
