Iran sees increase in exports from Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 31. In total, over 130,000 tons of goods worth about $92.8 million were exported from the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province (western Iran), over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021, through March 20, 2022), Deputy Chairman of Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization of the province, Jahanbakhsh Moradi said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.

According to Moradi, the province's exports increased by 177 percent in value and 252 percent in volume, compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020, through March 20, 2021).

The deputy also added that the main exported goods from the province were ceramics, household appliances, milk powder, urea, almonds, fish feed, metal products and etc.

"These goods were exported to various countries, including Iraq, Turkey, India, Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Lebanon, Georgia, and others," he said.
