BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 5. Passenger car manufacturing of Iran Khodro Industrial Group decreased by 6 percent, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.
According to the report, Iran Khodro manufactured a total of 451,121 passenger cars last Iranian year.
Meanwhile, in the preceding Iranian year, the figure stood at 480,338.
Over the last Iranian year, the Iran Khodro manufactured 297,817 units Peugeot, 50,095 units Samand, 50,257 units Dena, 35,630 units Runna, 8,647 units Haima, 8,541 units Tara, 103 units Peugeot 2008 and 21 units Arisun cars.
In addition, Iran Khodro Automaker Company manufactured 21,288 passenger cars in the 12th month of the last Iranian year (February 20 through March 20, 2022).
Reportedly, three giant Iranian automakers (Iran Khodro, Saipa, and Pars Khodro) manufactured a total of 867,363 cars over the last Iranian year, which is a decrease of 3.7 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
So, these companies had manufactured about 900,794 cars in the same period last Iranian year.
