TEHRAN, Iran, April 11. Iran's housing prices
are starting to decline as the government is building more
affordable housing units, said a member of Supreme Housing Council
Ahmad Donyamali, Trend reports citing ILNA.
The government and parliament are stressing that the construction
of 4 million apartments for low-income families will help reduce
high rent in the housing market.
Ahmad Donyamali said the government is pursuing to offer more
mortgages for the low-income families, to purchase apartments in
within the National Housing Movement Plan.
The Iranian government's landmark housing plan aims at building
about 4 million apartments in the next 4 years.
