BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 28. Iran's non-oil foreign trade turnover amounted to a positive balance of $756 million, in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2022), Deputy Director of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Foroud Asgari said, Trend reports citing the administration.

According to Asgari, Iran's non-oil exports for the first month amounted to 7.32 million tons worth about $3.7 billion.

The deputy director added that the exports increased by 25 percent in value, while decreased by 10 percent in volume, compared to the same month last Iranian year.

“Meanwhile, Iran's imports for the first month amounted to 2.25 million tons worth $2.82 billion,” he said.

So, Iran's imports increased by 1 percent in value and 10 percent in volume compared to the same month last Iranian year.
