BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 29. Iran aims to increase the value of trade turnover with the Caspian littoral states to $4 billion for the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), an official of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) Rahmatollah Khormali told IRIB, Trend reports.

Khormali said that the value of trade turnover between Iran and the Caspian littoral states amounted to about $3.5 billion over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022).

The official added that Iran's trade with the Caspian littoral states is carried out by all sea, land and railways.

Khormali also pointed out that special exhibitions are planned to be held to promote Iranian products in the markets of the Caspian littoral states. One of these exhibitions will be held on July 1 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
