BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 30. Passenger car manufacturing of Iran’s Saipa Group decreased by 7.8 percent, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.

The company manufactured a total of 75,304 passenger cars in three months.

Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at 81,669 cars.

So, the Saipa manufactured 59,920 units of “Tiba”, “Quick”, “Saina”, 6,201 units of Shahin cars, as well as 9,000 pick-ups in 3 months.

Over the third month alone (May 22 through June 21, 2022), the Saipa Company manufactured a total of 33,465 cars.

Three giant Iranian automakers (Iran Khodro, Saipa, and Pars Khodro) manufactured a total of 226,428 cars for the first three months of the current Iranian year, which is an increase of 11.2 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.

So, these companies had manufactured 203,529 cars in the same period of last Iranian year.
