BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 30. Iran's non-oil trade turnover amounted to 13.6 million tons worth $8.9 billion for the third month of the current Iranian year (May 22 through June 21, 2022), the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi said, Trend reports citing the administration.

According to Latifi, the trade turnover increased by 3 percent in value compared to the same month last Iranian year. Within the 3rd month, Iran's non-oil trade surplus amounted to $204 million.

The official added that Iran's non-oil exports amounted to 10.6 million tons worth $4.55 billion for the 3rd month.

“In addition, Iran imported 2.97 million tons of goods worth about $4.35 billion over the reporting month, which is an increase of 6.5 percent in value, compared to the same month last Iranian year,” he said.

The spokesman also noted that a total of 1.11 million tons of goods were transited through Iran in the third month, which is 24 percent more than in the same month last Iranian year.
