TEHRAN, Iran, August 8. Iranian Deputy Labor, Cooperatives and Social Welfare Minister for International Affairs Hamed Forouzan has announced the Ministry`s plan to develop trade with African countries, Trend reports citing IRNA.
On this matter, the first meeting of the Iran-Burundi Joint Commission was held.
According to Forouzan, during the meeting, seven documents of cooperation, on the issues of the canceling visas for political passports, mutual support for investment between the two governments, were signed.
Burundi's economy is dominated by the agricultural sector, he said adding that Iran expressed its readiness to export petrochemical products, food and edibles, medical equipment, road construction machinery to Burundi.
