Iran's exports of industrial goods increase

TEHRAN, Iran, August 10. Iran's industrial exports including polymer, chemical, and textile products have reached $243 million during the first months of the current Iranian year (started March 21,2022), Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.

The country has exported 255,000 tons of industrial commodities in this period which was seven percent of Iran's total non-oil export.

Polymer and chemical products shared 53 percent of Iran's industrial export. Polymer products shared 31.4 percent of industrial export and had a 28-percent increase in exports, compared to the same period of the last Iranian year (started March 21,2021).

Chemical products shared 21.9 percent of export and had an 18-percent increase in value compared to the last Iranian year.

The exported commodities included polymer products valued at $76 million, textile, shoes, and clothes valued at $31 million, chemical products valued at $53 million, home appliances valued at $25 million, electronic and power industries valued at $13 million, automobile valued at $3 million, and other industrial products.
