TEHRAN, Iran, August 31. Iran is pursuing to export mushrooms to Russia, said Deputy Agriculture Minister Mohammad Mehdi Boromandi, Trend reports citing ILNA.
"Iran's mushroom production is 200,000 tons, and a production unit has been established in Kurdestan Province to export mushrooms," he said, adding that the process requires the development of infrastructure to prevent agricultural products from decay.
He underlined that the government has received credit for mushroom export that would boost production.
Iran is currently exporting mushrooms to Iraqi Kurdistan and the Central Asian countries said the deputy pointing out that the government's effort is to start exporting mushrooms to Russia.
