BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 11. Iran’s export of non-oil products from Qazvin Province (northern Iran), increased by 49 percent in value and 28 percent in volume, during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Director General of Qazvin Province Customs Office Reza Nikravesh told Tasim News Agency, Trend reports.
The director general noted in total, 483,000 tons of non-oil products worth $346 million were exported from Qazvin Province in 6 months.
Nikravesh added that the exported goods were mainly fittings, copper wire, industrial oils, detergents, steel layers, etc.
“The province's goods were exported to 59 countries, including Iraq, Türkiye, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the UAE,” he said.
The customs official stressed that about 33 percent of the province's products were exported to Iraq, 23 percent to Türkiye, 11 percent to Afghanistan, 5 percent to Pakistan and 4 percent to the UAE.
