BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 7. In total, over 1 million tons of non-oil products worth $87.5 million were exported through the Khorramshahr customs of Iran’s Khuzestan Province in the south-west of the country, during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through December 21, 2022), Director General of Khorramshahr Customs Office Gholamreza Nikraftar told IRNA, Trend reports.

Nikraftar said that the main exported non-oil products through this customs for 9 months were cement, various fruits, greens, dried fruits, gypsum and etc. The mentioned products were mainly exported to Kuwait, Iraq and the UAE.

“In addition, 112 million tons of goods worth $478 million were imported through Khorramshahr customs in 9 months. The imported goods were mainly tires, cables, various spare, so on, and these goods were imported from China, the UAE, South Korea, Taiwan and India,” he added.

The director general noted that the income of Khorramshahr customs for 9 months was about 14.2 trillion rials (about $337 million), which is an increase of 281 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
