BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 23. About 7,800 tons of goods worth approximately $54.8 million were imported through the customs of Iran’s Kermanshah Province in the west of the country, during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through February 19, 2023), an official of the Kermanshah Province Customs Office Ali Asghar Abbaszadeh told Fars News Agency, Trend reports.
According to Abbaszadeh, the imports via the province’s customs for the reporting period increased by 12 percent in value, while decreasing by 67 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
The official added that aluminum alloy, equipment and spare parts, raw materials, various filters, and so on were the main imported goods to the province in 11 months.
“The mentioned goods were imported through two - Parvizkhan and Khosravi border checkpoints of the province,” he said.
There are 2 border checkpoints and 5 border markets in the Kermanshah Province of Iran. More than $3 billion worth of non-oil products is exported through the mentioned customs and border markets annually.
