BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. The activity of 47 manufacturing enterprises in Iran’s Qazvin Province in the north of the country was resumed over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), Director General of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization’s branch in Qazvin Province, Reza Saffari told IRNA, Trend reports.
The director general noted that as a result, a total of 600 people were provided with jobs.
“In recent years, the activity of the enterprises in the Qazvin Province was suspended due to various reasons, including the expiration of equipment, lack of raw materials, liquidity and low working capital and debt to banks,” he added.
Also, the capacity of 50 manufacturing enterprises that production potential is below 50 percent has been increased, Saffari said.
According to Saffari, serious steps will be taken to resume the activity of manufacturing enterprises in the province and efforts will be made to attract new investors in the current Iranian year (March 21, 2023 through March 19, 2024) too.
There are 20 industrial parks in Iran’s Qazvin Province, and approximately 1,000 manufacturing enterprises operate in these industrial parks.
