BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. Iran's export of non-oil products to Tajikistan increased by 86.2 percent in value and 87.6 percent in volume, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), compared to the preceding year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
In total, Iran exported 279,000 tons of non-oil products worth $79.6 million to Tajikistan in the last Iranian year, while in the preceding year, the non-oil exports stood at 145,000 tons worth $39.4 million.
Last year, Iran mainly exported petrochemical products, steel products, agricultural and food products, etc. to Tajikistan.
Meanwhile, Iran's total trade turnover with Tajikistan for the last Iranian year amounted to 262,000 tons worth $250 million.
The trade turnover increased by 90.8 percent in value and 88.4 percent in volume compared to 139,000 tons worth $131 million in the preceding Iranian year.
Overall, Iran exported more than 122 million tons of non-oil products worth approximately $53.2 billion in the last Iranian year, which increased by 10 percent in value, while it did not change in volume compared to the preceding year.
