BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 5. Iran's non-oil trade turnover with Turkmenistan amounted to about 323,000 tons worth over $116 million, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2023), Trend reports.
As reflected in the statistics of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the trade turnover between the two countries for the reporting period increased by 12.2 percent in value, while decreasing by 7.5 percent in volume compared to the same period in the last Iranian year.
So, Iran's non-oil trade turnover with Turkmenistan made up circa 349,000 tons worth approximately $104 million in the same period of last year.
Over 3 months, the main goods traded between the two countries were agricultural and food products, industrial products, transformers, water conditioners, petrochemical products, petroleum coke, cotton, cloth, and etc.
In the 3rd month of the current Iranian year alone (May 23 through June 21, 2023), the trade turnover between the two countries was 116,000 tons worth approximately $42.6 million.
In total, Iran's non-oil trade turnover amounted to 44.1 million tons worth $26.5 billion in the first three months of the current Iranian year.
