Iran records increase in value of non-oil exports to Kazakhstan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 6. Iran exported 112,000 tons of non-oil products worth approximately $44 million to Kazakhstan, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2023), Trend reports.

As indicated in the report of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the non-oil exports increased by 30.8 percent in value, while decreasing by 31 percent in volume compared to the same period in the last year.

Meanwhile, Iran’s non-oil exports to Kazakhstan for the same period of last year stood at about 163,000 tons worth $33.6 million.

Over 3 months, Iran mainly exported agricultural and food products, tobacco products, petrochemical products and etc. to Kazakhstan.

In the 3rd month of the current Iranian year alone (May 22 through June 21, 2023), Iran exported 44,300 tons of non-oil products worth $14.9 million to Kazakhstan.

Overall, Iran exported 35.5 million tons of non-oil products worth $12.5 billion within the first three months of the current Iranian year.

This is a decrease of 8.84 percent in value, while an increase of 24.4 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
