BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 10. Iran’s non-oil exports to Azerbaijan decreased by 34.7 percent in value and 0.8 percent in volume during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through July 22, 2023), compared to the same period in the last year, Trend reports.
As stated in the report of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran exported nearly 249,000 non-oil products worth $151 million to Azerbaijan over 4 months.
Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, Iran's non-oil exports to Azerbaijan stood at 250,000 tons, worth approximately $232 million.
Thus, Iran mainly exported agricultural and food products, industrial products, petrochemicals, and chemical products to Azerbaijan within 4 months.
During the 4th month of the current Iranian year alone (June 22 through July 22, 2023), Iran exported 51,600 tons of goods worth $41.2 million to Azerbaijan.
Overall, Iran exported about 45.8 million tons of non-oil products worth $15.9 billion within the first 4 months of the current Iranian year.
This is a decrease of 7.97 percent in value and an increase of 28.6 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
