BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. A number of industrial facilities worth approximately 29.5 trillion rials (about $702 million) were put into use in different provinces of Iran on August 14, 2023, Trend reports.
Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Abbas Aliabadi, Head of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO) Farshad Moghimi and other officials attended the event dedicated to the launch of the mentioned facilities online.
Seven facilities worth approximately 18.4 trillion rials (about $437 million) were launched, while the activity of 4 enterprises worth 9.24 trillion rials (about $220 million), was resumed.
Industrial facilities were launched in Iran's Kermanshah, Markazi, Zanjan, Yazd, Alborz, Lorestan, Sistan and Baluchistan, Golestan, Isfahan, Qazvin and East Azerbaijan provinces.
Meanwhile, the activity of industrial facilities was resumed in Markazi, Lorestan, East Azerbaijan, Alborz and Isfahan provinces.
At present, there are 851 industrial parks in Iran. Overall, more than 55,000 industrial enterprises operate in these industrial parks and more than 1 million people work there.
