BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 27. Türkiye registered 20 companies with Kyrgyz capital in August 2023, which is 8 companies less year-on-year, the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) said, Trend reports.
During the reporting period, despite the decrease in the number of registered Kyrgyz companies, their total capital increased.
"While the total capital of Kyrgyz companies registered in
Türkiye amounted to 14.2 million liras ($520,167) during the
reporting period, the figure was 2.2 million liras ($80,589) for
the same period in 2022," the TCCI said.
The TCCI also noted that the majority of Kyrgyz companies were registered in Istanbul (12) in August 2023.
"The total capital of Kyrgyz companies registered in Istanbul amounted to 11.4 million liras ($417,599)," the TCCI emphasized.
Moreover, about 10 wholesale and retail trading companies with Kyrgyz capital were registered in Türkiye in August 2023.
The rest of the companies are involved in other sectors of the economy.
