BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 28. Tyumen businessmen will meet with potential Azerbaijani partners and visit Azerbaijani enterprises by the end of this week, Trend reports.
According to the representative office of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade in Azerbaijan, a delegation of entrepreneurs from the Tyumen region met with the Russian Export Center (REC) representative office in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, Russian Trade Representative in Azerbaijan Ruslan Mirsayapov advised the businessmen on the peculiarities of business negotiations with Azerbaijani partners, gave recommendations on logistics, and emphasized the need to participate in international exhibitions and the translation into Azerbaijani of all information on the labels of food products imported to Azerbaijan.
In addition, Nuri Guliyev, head of the REC's representative office in Azerbaijan, spoke in detail about the REC's capabilities to support Russian exporters and the advantages of locating the production of Russian companies in Azerbaijan.
Moreover, the data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan shows that for the period from January through August 2023, Russia ranks third in the volume of trade turnover with Azerbaijan at $2.7 billion (26.82 percent growth for the year).
