BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 7. Non-oil exports from Iran’s Kermanshah Province in the west of the country increased by 9 percent in value and 13 percent in volume in the first half of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2023), compared to the same period last year, an official of the Kermanshah Province Customs Office Ali Asghar Abbaszadeh said, Trend reports.
During six months, 3.56 million tons of non-oil products worth approximately $1.43 billion were exported from Kermanshah Province, according to Abbazsadeh.
The customs official added that the products exported from the province mainly consisted of construction materials, including fittings, ceramics, agricultural products, including fruits and vegetables, milk and dairy products, rubber products, etc.
There are 2 border checkpoints and 5 border markets in Kermanshah Province, Iran.
Overall, Iran exported 67.7 million tons of non-oil products worth over $24.1 billion in the first half of the current Iranian year (March 21 through August 22, 2023). This is an increase of 2.62 percent in value and a decrease of 29 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
