Iran records increase in non-oil export from Isfahan Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 1. Non-oil exports from Iran’s Isfahan Province increased by 2 percent in value and 8 percent in volume in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2023), compared with the same time last year, Director General for Isfahan Province Customs Office Rasoul Kuhestani said, Trend reports.

Kuhestani stated that the province exported non-oil products worth about $848 million, weighing 1.35 million tons in 7 months.

The director general added that a total of 616 types of products, mainly iron, steel, petrochemical products, dairy products, and carpets, were exported from the province in the specified period.

Kuhestani noted that these goods were exported to 87 countries, mainly Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Türkiye and the UAE.

Overall, Iran’s overall non-oil exports reached $28.3 billion in value and 79.5 million tons in volume in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2023). Compared to the same period of the previous Iranian year, the value of non-oil exports decreased by 1 percent, while the volume increased by 29.3 percent.
