BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 11. Details of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in Baku between the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken" and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) of Azerbaijan (ASK) have become known, President of ASK Mammad Musayev exclusively told Trend.

According to him, the document pays attention to aspects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between ASK and Atameken.

"Azerbaijani and Kazakhstani entrepreneurs' bilateral cooperation extends in all directions. Priorities include agriculture, logistics, tourism, and the formation of cooperative partnerships in the industrial sector," Musayev noted.

Touching upon multilateral cooperation, ASK president noted its potential within the framework of organizations of Turkic-speaking states, as well as Islamic structures.

"Kazakhstan's active engagement in the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (ICCIA) is very vital to us. Azerbaijan is a member of the board of directors of this chamber and is especially interested in Kazakhstan's products passing through it to Turkic-speaking nations and member countries of this Islamic Chamber," Musayev said.

Members of the ICCIA include 57 countries with a total area of more than 31.8 million square kilometers and a total population of more than 1.99 billion people. These countries account for 6.2 percent of the world's land area and 23.8 percent of the world's population.

The annual gross domestic product (GDP) of ICCIA members reaches $10 trillion.
