BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3. The joint commission on trade and economic cooperation of Bulgaria and Azerbaijan will meet in Baku in July, although the timing will depend on the June 9 Bulgarian election, a source in the Azerbaijani government told Trend.

For Azerbaijan, the nation's Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov serves as co-chairman of the commission.

To note, Bulgaria will hold an early parliamentary election on June 9 to form a new government. On the same day, voting will take place in Bulgaria for the election of deputies to the European Parliament (such voting will take place throughout the EU, as the leadership of EU structures is changing).

During this visit, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Radev signed the “Joint Declaration on Strengthening Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Bulgaria”.
