BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 7. Mingachevir Industrial Park produced a total of 40.7 million manat ($23.9 million) in products during the first nine months of this year, with exports accounting for more than 81 percent, or 33.33 million manat ($19.6 million), Trend reports via Azerbaijan's Agency for Development of Economic Zones.
Under the agency's jurisdiction, Mingachevir Industrial Park has produced goods valued at 313 million manat ($184.1 million), with 267 million manat ($157.06 million) going to export.
The main direction of activity at the 26-hectare industrial park is the development of the textile and light industries. Currently, the resident of the park is “Mingəçevir Tekstil” LLC. The plant produces yarn using technologies of Germany, Switzerland, Japan, and Türkiye.
To date, 159 million manat has been invested in Mingachevir Industrial Park, and more than 500 permanent jobs have been created.
In addition to selling in the domestic market, the products manufactured under the brand “Made in Azerbaijan” are exported to Türkiye, Russia, and other countries.
