TURKISH INVESTMENTS TO THE AZERBAIJAN’S ECONOMY TO MAKE $1,5 BILLION

The total volume of Turkish companies’ investments in the Azerbaijan’s economy is $1,5 billion, the Minister of Economic Development, Farhad Aliyev told Trend.

According to him, the volume of the sub-contractors’ investments is $1,2 billion. “ Over 300 Turkish companies are currently operating in Azerbaijan, and over 5,000 people are employed there”, he said.

The Minister noted, that the Turkish companies’ activities cover the major sectors of the country’s economy. "However, there are some uncovered sectors, in which development is envisioned to be achieved”, Aliyev said.
