The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of Azerbaijan sent several proposals to the Greek Tourism Ministry concerning the development of cooperation in the sphere of tourism. The proposals will be considered in a forthcoming business-forum on tourism to be held in Athens in autumn 2005, Trend reports.
A relevant agreement was reached during the recent visit of the Greek Tourism Minister to Azerbaijan. During the talks Greece voiced its intention to develop cooperation in the sphere of tourism both in the state and private sector, organization of tourism exhibitions, business-forums, establishment of joint tourism companies.
Azerbaijan is ready to offer all facilities for favorable activities of Greek companies in the country. The Ministry in particular proposed the establishment of joint companies in the sphere of ecological tourism.
