The Ministry of Economic Development held a business-forum and a credit fair for entrepreneurs of Oguz District, Shaki Zakatala economic zone. The Ministry said that the key objective of the forum was to acquaint the entrepreneurs with the local resources and potential, prospects of increase of investments, expansion of partner relationships, and issue of
privileged credits.
During the credit fair entrepreneurs of the region received privileged credits in the amount of 500m manats, whereas the small and medium entrepreneurs plans to use the funds for implementation of projects on the development of panting and animal husbandry, as well as laying out the gardens.
Under the implementation of the State Program on Socio-Economic Development of regions in 2004-2008 2500 jobs were opened in Oguz region, including over 500 permanent jobs.
