The draft of the state program on the heating supply of Azerbaijan for 2005-2015 is under development according to the country’s President’s Decree, the Government told Trend. The works will be implemented by the Joint Stock Company (JSC) Azeristiliktehcizat.
The state program envisages works on heating supply of the residential houses and buildings in the settlements, as well as the social and other objects in the country.
Measures for the winter season are also taken for the reliable operating of the heating supply systems. The program’s development is supposed to be finished till October.
At the results of the researches held, 65-68% of heating equipment are actually obsolete. Except for Baku, such towns as Sumgaiyt, Gyanja, Minsgechavir, Alibayramli and other are not provided with the heating energy.
The situation in Baku is satisfactory. From 3067 residential houses of the capital city, connected to the heating system, only 1680 have heating system, from 165 schools вЂ" only 124, from 220 kindergartens - 115.
