Implementation of the project “Training of transport operators (freight carriers) in the framework of the TRACECA program, funded by the European Commission started,
the Azerbaijan’s national secretary at the TRACECA Intergovernmental commission Akif Mustafayev told Trend.
According to him, the training will be held by the Dutch Nea company, selected through the tender. The company’s specialists are currently employing the staff in Azerbaijan. All TRACECA Intergovernmental commission member states, excluding East European countries, particularly, Turkey, Rumania, Bulgaria will take part in the training. The project’s implementation period is 24 months.
European Union funds also projects for conducting trainings for the senior staff of the maritime transport (ship’s captains and etc.), for preparation of the “Rules for regulating dangerous goods transportation”. Tender bids are currently evaluated.
