On Thursday AZAL state company tried to set up air flights to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, while an airliner from Baku could not land in Nakhchivan airport, the State Company told Trend.
At present the airliner is on way back to Heydar Aliyev international airport.
The flights from Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to Baku and Ganja have been ceased for several days due to cloudy weather. “The unfavorable weather was observed not only in NAR, but also throughout the Small Caucasus. The problems also exist with Georgia,” the State Company said.
Hundreds of passengers are waiting for flights at the Nakhchivan and Heydar Aliyev airports.
