“The Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company plans to receive the fourth tanker 19619 from March to April 2006,” Aydin Bashirov, the chairman of the Company, told Trend exclusively.
According to Bashirov, the fourth tanker will be acquired till completion of navigation season in November 2006. The construction of the tankers is carried out at Russian Krasnoye Sormovo plant.
Azerbaijan exploits 3 similar tankers such as �Shah Ismayil Khatayi’, �President Heydar Aliyev’ and �Babak’ through TRACECA route.
The vessel is envisaged for transportation of crude oil and oil products.
