�Khalg’ joint stock-commercial bank set to the negotiations with the international payment systems Visa International and MasterCard. “The preliminary agreement on issue of cards of the systems was achieved, but the bank would be able to joint the systems in 2006,” Asim Mammadli, the chairman of the Board, told Trend.
Besides, Khalgbank intends to organize purchase and sale of circular checks. The bank holds negotiations with American Express in this regard.
Khalgbank entered plastic market in early 2005. The contract on cooperation for issue of local cards in the first stage was concluded with Azercard processing center. The cards were ordered at Austria Card Company.
